Dharma Yuddha

Mahabharata-inspired action game

Godot game

The need

Create a custom Mahabharata-inspired mobile action-game experience.

Why it was developed

Own and iterate the game mechanics and presentation in Godot rather than relying on a paid proprietary game-authoring runtime.

How to use it

  1. Install Godot 4.6.3 standard and import project.godot from the repository.
  2. Run the project in Godot for local play and development.
  3. For Android builds install the required JDK/Android SDK and follow the repository release instructions; publishing is a separate process.

How it can save time or money

Uses a free engine and reusable game code, avoiding a mandatory paid engine subscription for the local development workflow.

These are potential benefits, not measured savings. Include setup, maintenance, review and local operating costs when comparing your own workflow.

Current scope & limits

Store accounts, optional monetization, asset creation and hardware are separate costs. This audit does not reverify the deployed release or previous asset-generation expenditure.
